The first ‘extraterrestrial’ encounter came in primary school, where I saw, printed in an astronomy book, a photo of Saturn floating in unbearable darkness. Over time, that existential fear transformed into curiosity. Today, I gladly spend hours watching outer-space documentaries, absorbing the simulated alien sights like an addict.

The vastness of the universe, as well as our personal awareness, is terrifying. As terrifying is everything unknown,
